What counts as an emergency?
Anything that cannot safely wait: a fence or gate down and the garden open to the road, a door or window that will not close or lock, storm damage, a job that has to be done before guests arrive tomorrow.
How quickly can Benno get there?
As quickly as the roads allow. Cornwall is a long county and he tells you honestly when he can be with you when you ring.
Is an emergency call-out more expensive?
Out-of-hours work is priced when you ring, before Benno sets off, so you know what you are agreeing to.
Do you make things safe first and come back to finish?
Yes, where that is the sensible thing. A temporary fix that secures the property tonight and a proper repair in daylight is often better than a rushed job in the dark.
